BACK-TO-WORK BOUTIQUE- COMING SOON!

Life is always full of surprises. Just when we think we are going one way, the universe sends us a message that it is time to do something else, something more!


Femmepowered's mission of supporting and empowering women has not changed; in fact, it is deepening! We want to help to our fullest capacity. Right now, we see a need to help women get back into the workforce, whether they are single moms who could use some additional support, women who are leaving abusive situations, newcomers to Canada, or women who have simply been out of work for an extended period of time. We are here for you!


The Back-to-Work Boutique will give women the empowering experience they need during what can be a terrifying transition. If this means being served a hot coffee while she browses, or having someone play with her child while she tries on clothing, we want every woman to leave our boutique feeling confident and supported, knowing that she has a group of people rooting for her success.

To help every client prepare, the Back-to-Work Boutique will include:


  • Business-casual and business-professional clothing

  • Handbags

  • Accessories

It will also provide services such as:

  • Career guidance

  • Resumé support

  • Empowerment workshops

  • Emotional support

  • Child-minding while clients are shopping

​

Femmepowered understands that this is a HUGE mission, and it cannot be accomplished overnight. It also cannot be accomplished alone. This will take a community of collaboration. As such, we are asking for the following donations to help us get started:

​

  • New or gently-used business-casual and business-professional clothing

  • New pantyhose, socks

  • Handbags, tote bags

  • Shoes

  • Necklaces and bracelets (no earrings for hygiene reasons)

  • New hygiene products such as lotions, perfumes, shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, deodorant, lip balm, menstruation products, etc.

  • Notebooks, pens
